I am a ski coach with nearly five years of full time instructional experience. I am certified by the PSIA in alpine (downhill) skiing as well as for working with children and coaching basic freestyle maneuvers. I love being outside in the snow and the freedom that comes along with gliding along the winter surface of the great forests of the north American west. I grew up racing in the pacific northwest and competed in every class of downhill event from slalom to super giant slalom. I enjoy getting technical about how we move our body to make our skis move most efficiently in order to glide, slip, skid, and carve across the slopes. I am most recently well versed in skiing bumps and powder but of late am also learning how to ski on east coast (style) ice here at DV. I enjoy a good joke and love puzzles and play and can converse on just about any subject if you just want to do that (on the lifts at least!). I am currently employed by Alterra* Resorts here at DV and would love to work with you in a private lesson.
